ACCELERATED PRIMARY

Children who are 4 years of age by September 1, 2021, may apply for our Preschool class. All of our little learners must be able to use the restroom independently prior to attendance. Pull-ups and diapers are not permitted.

 

Our Preschool Class offers our children ample opportunities to enhance their social skills because they get to interact not only with other children but also with other adults other than their parents. This is where their language skills are enhanced. It's also an excellent venue for learning emotional and self-regulation skills. Through our engaging lessons and exciting themes that bring smiles to their face, your child will reach many academic goals. They must have an attention span to sit in a class setting for lessons that are 20-30 minutes at a time.

Our Accelerated Primary class is a combined class that allows children who are 4 years old by Jan 1, 2021, up to 6 years old to apply. The children in this class must be writing already, be mature enough to keep up with an extensive, rigorous, and fast-paced class with a varied curriculum as well as an attention span to do lessons for at least 30-45 minutes at a time. A part of their enrollment process will be to take an assessment beforehand to ensure they are ready for this type of class. 

Our Accelerated Primary class is heavily S.T.R.E.A.M.S. inspired problems, child and project-centered which means our children are active participants in the learning process. Through collaboration, shared experiences, and in-depth exploration of unique projects, students develop a rich understanding of the topics that they are investigating. By learning through problems and projects, children establish the ability to become “masters” of knowledge related to specific topics – a skill that will serve them well as they enter first grade and beyond.

It's designed to encourage students to think critically, solve problems, explore and share ideas. We support each student's learning style by offering opportunities for them to work in small groups and one-on-one with their teacher. The daily schedule is designed to enrich the students' knowledge with a variety of hands-on, visual and auditory, self-directed experiences, and teacher-led activities. Learning includes engineering, science, technology, math, social sciences, games, robotics, reading, life skills, etc. Our Accelerated Primary class depends heavily on parent participation and commitment to their learning. They will receive homework and project assignments that require your active participation throughout the entire school session in addition to your POSH/GOSH commitments. Please consider this BEFORE enrolling your child. Any children who are not keeping up will be dropped from the Accelerated Primary class and no refunds will be given. 

Assessments Date: January 22-29, 2021. There is a one-time non-refundable CASH fee of $20.00 to take the assessment testing and $8 (cash or credit card). All children must bring their own Tablets, Smart Phones, or Laptop computers to take the assessment online. This will require all parents to sign them up online and download the APP in order to take it. Acceptance will be posted by

February 1, 2021. All those interested in enrolling must also print out this worksheet GO HERE, work alongside your child to help them to complete it, and bring it in when you come to register.

Please note we accept cash ONLY. You must bring exact cash because change will not be given. All leftover change will be donated.

On June 11, 2021, we will have our Preschool and Accelerated Primary Awards Day from 6:45 PM-7:45 PM. All the guests are to arrive by 6:30 PM.  Refreshments will be served.

We will spend time out in our community learning.  We may go to a Museum, Visit a Waterpark, Visit a library, Eat at a restaurant or do all the above on the same day.  These off-site Educational Field Trips are to help them grasp concepts and enhance their learning experience. We believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged and concepts are presented in meaningful and creative ways.

 

Our rich and unparalleled Educational Field Trips connects the classroom to the real world and teaches students problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Small classes and a project approach to teaching create a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. Here, our children are not simply memorizing facts and taking tests; knowledge is absorbed through hands-on, experiential learning. It is also a great way for them to explore their community while having fun with their friends. 

Some Educational Field Trips will not require any additional fees while others may require additional fees and others may require no fees for your child(ren) but maybe a fee for parents attending for their POSH or GOSH. Please check before signing up.

Our Overnight Care is for children from Preschool to 5th Grade (4 years old to 10 Years old). 

Other age groups may be accepted, just ask.

1. Any 5 Days 6:00 PM-2:00 AM

$400 tuition is due monthly on the 15th. Our dedicated overnight for 5 days from 6:00 PM-2:00 AM has a non-refundable $100 Registration.

2. Any 5 Days 6:00 PM-8:00 AM

$560 tuition is due monthly on the 15th. Our dedicated overnight for 5 days from 6:00 PM-8:00 AM has a non-refundable $100 Registration.

Picking up after 2:05 AM is automatically charged at the higher rate.

Call for availability. Tuition is due in cash at the time you drop off on the 1st day you drop off. There is an additional $20 Cash Hold Fee that is refundable ONLY if your child is picked up on time. AT FIVE MINUTES LATE YOUR HOLDING FEE BECOMES NON-REFUNDABLE. 

All child(ren) will sleep on either a cot, crib mattress, or twin bed and have a cubby for their belongings. 

Any child being dropped off after 8 PM must come already bathed and in their PJ's unless there is a field trip planned.

Because student interest drives clubs and activities, extracurricular life at iPLANETS ACADEMY is rich and diverse. Whether you want to explore talent, serve the community, bolster your academic profile, learn new board games, enjoy gaming or just meet new friends, there is something for everyone and everyone has something to offer

SUMMER CAMP

Our Summer Camps are for children 6 years old to 10 Years old. Children who are currently enrolled in our Accelerated Primary class may be considered. 

Join us for a fun-filled adventurous Summer where education and fun go hand in hand. Participants will develop self-esteem, independence, and, social skills through highly active indoor and outdoor games, outrageous play, special activities, free choice art, off-site trips, cooperative games, fitness, on-site mini-camps, stations, free choice activities, water activities, and more!

 

Our Summer Camp begins:

We have 10 weekly sessions.

June 12, 2021-August 21, 2021.

The arrival time is 5:45 AM. Pickup time is 5:45 PM unless otherwise stated due to a field trip. 

Summer Camp Early Enrollment opens April 5, 2021-May 10, 2021 to receive a discount. Anyone enrolling during our early-enrollment period will be discounted to $2,800 with a $250 registration.

 

Summer Camp Regular Enrollment and Full Tuition begins on May 11, 2021, and is due no later than

June 8, 2021. For anyone enrolling during our regular enrollment period tuition will be $3,000 with a $500 registration.

If we have weekly spots available they will be $400.00 weekly + meals. 

 

Our Summer Camp non-refundable Registration and all paperwork must be received no later than 06/08/21.

All uniforms also need to be ordered no later than 06/08/21.

 

The Summer Camp fee covers their Accommodations, Transportation, Activities, and Supervision. All children must also purchase their Meals, and Snacks by GO HERE

All children MUST be FULLY potty trained to enroll. Read all guidelines online BEFORE registering. If you agree with all the guidelines then you can register. 

All fees are payable by CASH ONLY. Once you register all fees are 

NON-REFUNDABLE, NO EXCEPTIONS

CHILD CARE FEES

Our policies have been developed to promote high-quality services, materials, supplies, and well-trained, educated caregivers is what you can expect. Financial terms will be finalized on the parent-provider contract.

TUITION INCREASES

Our annual tuition is not based on what other schools charge, or on the notion of “what the market can bear.” We base our cost on what it takes for iPLANETS ACADEMY to deliver on our promises. For the past ten years, our tuition has increased by less than 3% per annum. Tuition fees are used to provide the highest possible quality care and learning environment for your child. Tuition is based on the current fee schedule and your child's schedule listed on the Parent/Provider Contract. An automatic raise in tuition will go into effect each July. Please check the new posted fees by May 20. 

 

ADMINISTRATIVE

Parents may request copies of any form in their child's record file. Requests must be made in writing through our Facebook Messenger Online. Please include the date the copies are needed. Please allow 24-48 hours for us to get those forms to you.

 

A fee of .10 per black/white copy will be charged for this service. You are welcome to go online and print out any forms you may need yourself. 

 

IRS  AND TAXES

All parents who make a request for it will receive a filled out IRS Form W-10 by

January 28th in order to receive the information needed to file your taxes. You can see a blank one by GO HERE.

 

You would then need to file a Form 2441 to report child and dependent care expenses paid for the year. This form must be filed if you're planning to claim a credit for child and dependent care expenses.

From time to time throughout the year ​iPLANETS ACADEMY may sell things on our website or at fundraisers. When those times occur we will collect sales taxes to be paid to the state of Georgia. The current state sales tax is 4%. 

TAX SAVINGS OPPORTUNITIES and INCENTIVES

Congress has legislated certain tax credits and savings incentives focused on relieving the cost of child care for eligible taxpayers that may provide additional savings for you.

  • The Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit is a federal tax credit available for eligible taxpayers to assist in reducing your year-end tax liability.

  • A Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) may be provided by your employer to allow you to set aside pre-tax dollars for child care costs.

  • Each person’s income and tax situation is unique, so you should consult with your tax advisor to determine eligibility and savings opportunities.

  • Various states provide additional incentives for qualified taxpayers. 

 

WAITING LIST

If iPLANETS ACADEMY agrees to hold an opening we give up the right to fill that position with another child(ren) who would be paying full tuition. For this reason, a non-refundable holding fee of one full month of tuition is required to hold an opening, beginning on the date that the opening becomes available, and then $28 is due for each week up to 2 weeks.

 

If Full payment is not received on the 2nd week the opening will no longer be held and all monies will be forfeited. NO exchanges or credit will be given. If you enroll your child the $28 payments will be applied towards your current payment not to include registration, supply, uniform, field trips, graduation, or other fees. 

In the event your child does not start by the agreed-upon date, your position will be forfeited and your deposit to hold the position will become non-refundable. You will also go to the bottom of the list.

TABLET/COMPUTER FEES   

iPLANETS ACADEMY offers an insurance program for all our Tablets/Computers.  Enrolling in the program protects you in the event of accidental damage, loss or theft. By enrolling in the program, the maximum liability is $100.00 per incident. If a family chooses to decline to enroll, they are responsible for the entire cost to repair/replace the tablet.

 

Replacement costs are listed below, and repair costs vary, depending on the extent of the damage. All fees must be paid in full before your child will be able to return to school. If a period of 4 days passes without fees being paid all services and agreements will be terminated, the position filled, and the collection process will begin.
